Accurate

If you are the only person involved with the writing, entering, processing, and shipping of orders at your company, then accuracy is of little importance since you know exactly what is going on. However, for all of the other people out there who are but a piece in the corporate puzzle, accuracy is what differentiates a good day from bad day.

Completely electronic: Data used by OrderXpert is first imported from your corporate business software system. Orders are then created on the scanner, downloaded to a PC and then exported to back your business software , so that no manual data entry is required. This eliminates errors caused by misinterpreted handwriting or manual keying mistakes. Direct interfaces are available for most accounting systems, including ACCPAC, MAS-90/200, QuickBooks, Great Plains, Macola, and many others.

Automatic pricing: All of the product prices are stored on the handheld, so orders are automatically priced in real-time as the order is created. A running order total can be viewed at any time.

Barcode scanning: while manual data entry through a keyboard results in an error for each 300 entries made, barcode scanning is nearly perfect and in the worst case results in an error for each 1.7 million scans. OrderXpert software further reduces the possibility of errors by checking each scanned value against values in your data. If an exact match is not found, the software will not add the product to the order. Mishipped products become a thing of the past.

Credit card swiping: while you can certainly manually type credit card information into the system, the use of a USB credit card swipe reader eliminates manual entry errors.
